PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTS
The first time I seriously picked up a camera was during my senior year of college. For my journalism capstone, I took a photojournalism class where we captured local events, studied the work of seasoned photographers, and practiced the art of seizing moments through a lens. A few weeks into the semester, on a whim during a trip to Amarillo, Texas, I bought my very first film camera from a tiny antique shop—and I've been shooting ever since.
This portfolio is a collection of snapshots I've gathered over the years: portraits of friends, family memories, school assignments, travels, and all the little moments in between. It’s far from professional, but it’s my small tribute to photography—celebrating everything a camera can do and everything it’s taught me.
