What does it mean to strategically communicate?

We all communicate. The issue inherently lies in how we do so. Many of us are not intentional with our words. We don't think about their purpose, and, as a result, we speak aimlessly, superfluously, and carelessly.

 

Strategic communications help guide our words, whether through a press release, a social media post, a thought leadership piece, etc. When it comes to your brand and/or business, you deserve to have communications that echo the intentionality of your work.

I've never known a world without social media.

From the moment I started middle school, I was on social media, and, for better or worse, I've been on these platforms ever since. 

 

Now, I leverage that personal experience to help creators, brands, and businesses tell their stories. My approach is simple. I'm not chasing virality; I'm building community and communicating purpose.

When I was 13, I asked my mom if I could plan my bat mitzvah—Cirque du Sloan—and I’ve brought that same enthusiastic energy to event planning ever since. Today, I channel that passion into everything from professional dinners to immersive brand activations. I bring a playful flair and a polished, professional approach to every event, making sure it’s not only well-executed but genuinely enjoyable.

JewBoy Sliders—a local Austin chain and part of the larger JewBoy brand (which includes JewBoy Burgers, JewBoy Cantina, and JewBoy Subs)—brought on Sabra Strategies to revamp its social media strategy, develop fresh content, support media relations, and lead new product photography.

we teamed up with douie (275k followers on instagram, over 4m on tik tok) and jude cloud (36k followers on instagram, 34.4k on tik tok) to extend our digital footprint through strategic influencer partnerships. these collaboration posts resulted in over 630k+ impressions, 17k+ likes, and over 120+ shares. click on the frames to see the reels for yourself.

This gallery features social captions I wrote for JewBoy Sliders, a late-night Austin spot with a voice as unique as its menu. The brand blends border-town flavor with Jewish comfort food—and needed a tone to match: honest, cheeky, and never trying too hard.

 

These posts show how I adapt to distinct brand identities, especially in food and beverage, and write captions that feel conversational while still driving engagement. Whether it’s hyping a new menu item or promoting a block party, I know how to strike the right balance between fun and strategic.

empowering communities through content

Through my work with HL Strategy, I've had the privilege of collaborating with Westside Future Fund on its social media and brand strategy. WFF is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta that is focused on providing support to five Atlanta neighborhoods facing some of the greatest needs: English Avenue, Vine City, Ashview Heights and the Atlanta University Center and Just Us.

Mijal Bitton | Thought Leadership & Digital Strategy

During my time supporting Dr. Mijal Bitton—an influential religious scholar and spiritual leader—I served as a strategic and creative partner behind the scenes, helping her ideas resonate more clearly and effectively in the digital space. Mijal and I worked to strengthen and streamline her social media presence across Instagram and LinkedIn. Our primary focus was Instagram, where we achieved a 40%+ followers growth over four months through a fully organic strategy.

 

Working closely with Mijal, I developed and executed a strategic content strategy that elevated her voice while honoring her distinctive tone and perspective. My role encompassed content creation (including graphic design, short-form video editing, and visual storytelling), copywriting, community management, and analytics-informed planning.

 

Together, we expanded her digital footprint through strategic collaborations with organizations and creators aligned with her mission, such as Unpacked Media. These partnerships helped amplify her ideas to new audiences while reinforcing her existing community.
